This beautiful brooch is made of silver gilt and was crafted by Carl Gustav Halsberg, who was a well-known goldsmith and jeweler for the Swedish royal court.
The brooch has an intricate cannetille finish, which adds to its beauty and artistic appeal. It has its original pin with a 'C' hook fastener, ensuring it stays securely in place when worn. We haven't cleaned it intentionally to maintain its charming patina, keeping it in very good antique condition.
Stamped with the date letter "M6" on the back, the brooch was made in 1914, giving it historical significance and making it a rare collector's item from the early 20th century.

Made from gold washed silver gilt with an Etruscan style design and hallmarks for C. S. Hallberg. C’ G Hallberg was a prominent Swedish goldsmith and jewellers to the Swedish Court with their workshop located in Stockholm and best known for silverware and metal wear which continues to be in high demand today. In the early 20th century they were the largest jewellers in Scandinavia.

Is my item insured?
We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for items which go missing in the post (rest assured, this is an exceptionally rare situation), we always obtain a receipt to prove that we have fulfilled our duties and have shipped the item via whichever method you selected. If you selected International Tracked delivery then we can file an insurance claim to seek reimbursement for the missing parcel up to the value of £250 (please be aware that any successful insurance claims will be forwarded to the customer upon our receipt of them and not before); however if you selected standard airmail then no compensation can be claimed.
